Elevra Youth Empowerment & Grant Initiative

General Contest Rules

By registering for the Elevra Youth Empowerment & Grant Initiative, every contestant agrees to the following rules and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open only to Nigerian youths between 18 and 35 years of age.

• Contestants must provide correct and truthful information during registration. Any false information may lead to immediate disqualification.

2. Contest Participation

• All contestants are expected to actively participate and complete every stage of the contest as instructed by the organizers.

• Contestants must follow all deadlines, instructions, and announcements shared through the official communication channels.

3. Organizer’s Right to Modify the Contest

• The Elevra Organizing Team reserves the right to adjust, postpone, extend, suspend, or modify any part of the contest if necessary. This includes situations where participation is lower than expected, contestants fail to meet required milestones, or for any operational or unforeseen reasons.

• All decisions made by the organizers are final.

4. Fair Play

• Any form of cheating, impersonation, vote manipulation, or dishonest conduct will result in immediate disqualification.

• Contestants must respect fellow contestants, volunteers, mentors, and organizers throughout the competition.

5. Code of Conduct

• Verbal abuse, harassment, intimidation, threats, bullying, discrimination, violence, or any form of inappropriate behaviour will lead to immediate removal from the contest.

• Contestants are expected to maintain good character both online and offline.

6. Official Communication

• All official communication will take place only through the official Elevra WhatsApp groups and approved communication channels.

• Contestants must not privately contact, lobby, or attempt to influence organizers, judges, mentors, or officials regarding the contest. Doing so may result in disqualification.

7. Travel and Grant Collection

• Winners may be invited to Abuja for award presentations, training, networking events, media activities, or grant presentations. Contestants agree to honour such invitations when required.

• Where the organizers decide to pay grants directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts, selected contestants must provide accurate banking details for payment.

8. Use of Photos and Media

• By participating, contestants give Elevra permission to use their photographs, videos, names, testimonials, and other media content for publicity, reports, marketing, and future editions of the initiative without additional payment or compensation.

9. No Payment Required

• Participation in the Elevra Grant Contest is free unless officially stated otherwise.

• Contestants should report anyone requesting money or personal favours in exchange for selection, votes, or grants.

10. Acceptance of Rules

• By registering and participating in the Elevra Youth Empowerment & Grant Initiative, contestants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these rules.

• Failure to comply with any of the above rules may lead to suspension or disqualification without prior notice.

The goal of Elevra is to empower young people through fairness, integrity, transparency, and equal opportunity for all participants.
